Figures Series

I love, love drawing people! This was an assignment in my art class last year. We all sat in the atrium (just happened to be my high school last year. It's different this year) on the steps, in the middle of the floor, and sketched each other. In this class (9:30-2) i cranked out like 6 drawings. These 3 are my best. The middle one is actually one of my friends and the last is the giant gator sculpture on the edge of the atrium.

2 reasons why they look cartoony--1)I have trouble sometimes drawing realistic
2)they're quick, gesture-drawings. They're not meant to go into any kind of detail
